About Us
Go Kart Party was launched in 2004 to provide a new and innovative children's entertainment concept aimed at children, boys and girls, in the 3 to 9 years age group. Just as its predecessor, bouncy castles, had done many years before it, it soon became popular with children and adults alike.
Go Kart Party were short listed for the prestigious Franchise Recruitment Team of the Year 2006 after just under 17 months in business. A fitting tribute to our hard working team.
Although called Go Kart Party, it is about much more than just Parties. Operators have 3 main revenue streams:
Birthday Parties
Retail days
Corporate events
Training and Support
You will receive full training in how to set up and run your business and also in how to promote and sell your services. Our staff are available to answer any questions you may have and also to make corporate approaches on your behalf when appropriate. We also run a nationwide booking service taking enquires over the phone or from our web site and passing them on to our franchisee when it is convenient for them.
We will help you get your business up and running as soon as possible;
We can help you with your business plan, an essential part of any new business.
We have arrangements with a number of financial institutions for putting funding in place to purchase your franchise including loans and lease arrangements.
We will help you secure venues from which to run your parties.
Financial Information
A Go Kart Party Franchise costs £25,000 + VAT, broken down as follows;
Equipment etc £15,000
Franchise Fee £10,000
Go Kart Party do not charge you a commission on your turnover, we do however have a low fixed management fee payable monthly of £250 + VAT.
Well you will need a sign written van, Ford Transit size, to transport the equipment around in. We have arrangements with a van supplier to supply us low cost vans. Alternatively we can help you secure suitable used vans.
There are very few other overheads in the business, you do not have rent nor rates as you only pay for venues as you need them. No need for office staff nor expensive offices.
You will need a minimum of £7,500 in personal liquid funds to start your business, the financial institutions will lend the balance of funds required, subject to status.

As we go to press our youngest operator is in his early 20's our oldest in their early 60's. Some have children helping them, others have parents helping them. Some run the business as a full time occupation others have taken part time employment whilst they build the business up without the crippling overheads that most business bring. We have families running the business and we have single operators both male and female. The they are all now part of our team.
