Company History
Waffle Magic is the latest
exciting addition to the Bluestar Group of Companies. Originally
formed by Managing Director Neil Ryan in 2003, Bluestar Marketing
and Distribution Ltd has grown substantially. Over the past 5 years
the Company has developed a successful UK wide network of
distributors in areas such as Duracell batteries, Bar Snack vending
and most recently frozen Fruit Smoothie distributors through our
sister company Easyjuice Ltd.
The Waffle Business
A trip through America or many parts of Europe would convince you immediately of the potential for this business in the UK. Waffles are considered typical of Belgium, which boasts several varieties of waffles with somewhat different recipes.
The fresh waffle market is now set to explode within the UK making this the perfect time to enter the market. This is a genuine ground floor opportunity as currently there is no other business like this in the UK.
The attraction of becoming a Waffle Magic distributor and running your own business, apart from the high earnings potential, is its flexibility. Typical site are open 6 – 7 days a week enabling you to operate on a part-time or full-time basis. With as little as 1 day a month free you too can run a Waffle Magic distributorship.
It is ideal for those who wish to build their own business, whilst keeping their day job. Then, once you can see the financial returns for yourself, going full time will not seem so difficult. How the Business Works
The operation of this business is simple. A member of our team will survey your area to ascertain its potential using our software database of every business in the UK. We will then discuss the findings with you and agree an area in which you are happy to operate. A professional telemarketing company is then employed on your behalf to contact potential customers in your area and make appointments for you. This method had been tried and tested and has proven very successful producing 3-4 appointments a day.
You simply then visit the customer and fully explain the concept. Equipment is demonstrated and most importantly, waffles tasted! The high profit potential and ease of use is clearly illustrated to the customer. A typical Cafe can expect to earn £7,000+ per year from the Waffle Magic concept - therefore you will not find yourself short of enthusiastic customers!

You then put everything into place in the outlet such as the Waffle Iron, stock and point of sale material including training the site staff on how to operate and maintain the equipment.
Your responsibility from then on is to visit your customers on a monthly basis and supply them with the required waffle mix. The waffle mix comes in 12.5kg bags and is simply mixed by the site as and when required. Shelf life is approximately 12 months. You then invoice the site accordingly for what they have ordered and collect the money there and then thus avoiding and bad debts.
The Waffle Irons
Waffle irons are necessary for perfect waffles
because they use high heat that cooks quickly and crisps up the
outside of the waffle, while leaving the inside tender and
light.
All outlets are supplied with a free-on-loan Professional Waffle Maker (the machine always belongs to you). The Waring Belgian Waffle Maker is a commercial waffle iron made with heavy duty die-cast housing and features professional waffle iron operations. The rotary feature lets you flip the waffle without opening the lid, which produces even expansion and browning results. The embedded thermostats provide precise temperature control in tandem with the browning dial that allows you to control the shade of your waffle from light to dark. This Belgian Waffle Maker creates 1¼ inch thick waffles with a 7 inch diameter - and as many as 25 waffles per hour, which is perfect for cafes, hotels and restaurants. It features power and ready-to-bake LEDs in addition to an audio beep that signals that your waffle is ready. The attractive brushed stainless steel interior complements any décor while the non-stick cooking surface and removable catch trays ensure fast and easy cleanup.
What Can You Expect To Earn?
Illustrated below is a table showing what you can
potentially earn depending upon how many outlets you service.
Waffle sales in a good location would be 20 – 30 per day. Our
calculations are, therefore, based conservatively on sales of just
10 waffles per day per outlet.
The waffle mix is supplied to the outlet in 12.5kg bags. Each bag makes approx 150 waffles. Your profit from each waffle is 16p. An outlet selling 10 waffles per day that is open 6 days a week will make you a profit of 16p x 10 waffles x 6 days = £9.60 per week.
